Hi, I have recently purchased (awaiting delivery) an old Li125 series 2 from Sam the Lambretta Finder. The scoot looks great in the photos, asin the, the old patina looks great. What I fancy doing is keeping the old paintwork and just restore the bits that need restoring (engine etc). I am after some advice on preserving the paintwork. I'll put some photos up in a bit when i sort them out onto photo bucket :D

Looks ideal for what you have in mind

Yeah, I like that. In particular the lefthand panel is doing it for me.

Ankor wax and similar products are where you need to look first for the visable bits at least.

What's the benefit of this over Ankor Wax?

Easier to apply/wash off & goes further. Spray some into the can top & brush on.
