Back in the day, Kawasaki ones as front dampers. Not the best of ideas but looked 'trick' at the time. Spent more money than had knowledge. lol. Never fitted as a steering damper, but I've not experienced tank slappers like on the bikes. Never felt it was necessary.

I remember having a MOT done on a P-range years ago by garage only familiar with Jap bikes and being asked why the steering damper wasn't fitted? bellend!
