As the title says, what's the cost of registering an import ?. The nova is there but what costs are involved to get a V5 ?

You'll need a dating certificate (£10)
MOT (£30)
Insurance (any number you can think of)
First reg fee (£55)
Appropriate number plate (£25 ish) Though this comes after the scooter is reg'd.

All of that assumes the scooter doesn't need any resto or remedial work.

All of the above except the insurance, you dont need insurance to register an import as long as you declare it sorn after receiving your v5

You sure about that BB ??

I registered two Lambrettas last Autumn, by post to Swansea (all the local offices have now closed) An insurance certificate was a requirement.

I did one about a month ago - no insurance required
