Looking to buy a new back shock for my series 2 Tv. My current shock is leaking oil. I'm looking for a high quality, standard looking shock. Seen Escort shocks and Carbone shocks available in a couple of outlets. Are these any good?

I've always used Escorts and never had a problem.

Depends if you want pretty over functional. Hagon better than Escorts but not by the cost difference, especially when you get "caught", the second escort will still come in under the Hagon price. Only one customers Escort failed in over 10 years, after three years use, replaced FOC. (Caveat, we've probably only fitted a dozen escorts in that time as most want "Gucci", and only fitted two or three Hagons). Just re-read, "High Quality, standard looking" HAGON, or Chisels (up-spec'd re-made Taffspeed). At no stretch can Escort be classed as high quality. work well, robust, agricultural, DO THE JOB, but no way High Quality.
(You wouldn't fit one to a quick machine)
