Neither would I, I just had an LML 125 reed valve engine rebuilt with a new LML 150 5 port top end and the bill for bearings, seals, gaskets and sundry parts and crank trueing came to more than that.....I do now have a properly put together motor though...cheers Byron 8-)

Colin, by all accounts I don't think you will be disappointed, the 5 port is supposed to be very good. Would interested on your thoughts.

I'll certainly let you know but I need to warn you that I ignored the advice on the LML forum and bought the cheapest 5 barrel and piston I could find from Mickey Spares, £24.99 with piston plus the same again for shipping. The barrel itself looked great, really well made, the piston is an unknown quantity but the clearance was absolutely fine. It starts and runs fine but the main jet needs sorting at the moment, I'll have another play with it over the weekend and let you know. It's also running a £9.99 clutch and a £60.00 flywheel and Stator, no expense spared here ;)
