or more particularly the rubber mounts, obviously designed for s3`s more curved leggies they simply dont work on the much flatter s1/2 profile, has anyone had any experience of fitting these? i presume ive got to cut off the angle to sit better, some advice would be much appreciated

Not got a close up

Res you need to shape them a bit. I used a flap wheel in the grinder and finished it off with a small drum sander in the dremel. Get the face to fit flat and dished out the front. it fitted with the standard bolt so didn't need the longer ones. Its messy and you end up covered in black soot but not difficult

This shows the other side of it. Its still has a wedge shape to it. If you hold it in the area you want it to fit and turn it till it fits as close as possible with the face vertical. then start whittling it away. it crushes up wnen you bolt it up. Its like everything on a bloody lambretta you have to fettle it
