Screaming at full throtle?
Hello lads, just before Lincoln i changed my jetting and exhaust from a 48mil to a 42mil clubman, thing is the scoot rode there and back from the rally really well travelling at around 60 most of the time, a few times i shot of and when the throttle is at the stop the motor just starts screaming and the rev's shoot up to an alarming mode enough to make me back of right away, any thoughts on this, is it the carb or exhaust or as someone else thought the clutch, used to run the scoot on a 34mil amal and never had this problem, cheers Hicksy.

If i read clearly......when you open up your throttle wide, and ride at peak power......the revs suddenly rise very high and very fast? Yes?
Could be anything, and without seeing it, its hard to say.....but based on what you said....definitely sounds like a slipping clutch.

Drunkmunkey6969, what ouy said in your first line is correct, possibly time for new plates and springs then, cheers Hicksy.
