Are we just talking the clearance bore in the crankcase or is there something else? Which bikes have which? Is there a list?

125; 150; 175's are considered "small bore" 200's are considered "larger bore"

The difference between small and large is the size of the "mouth" in which the barrel fits, and the stud spacing is different as well.

A proper 200 cylinder will not fit into a small bore crankcase without extensive mods which some engineering companies will now do.

OK stud spacing is the key then as i have had other crankcases bored to suit a larger barrels.
