The build quality of servetta's are pretty good, good strong frames and engines components, the Spanish rear hub is the best to use, tuning wise? well anything from a upjet and a clubman to a full blown nutter RB kit with all the trimmings- yep worth picking up. The only problem I found was the motoplat electrics could be a bit weird, change to Italian Ducati points set up (or electronic if you wish) and you should have a great little scooter. Paul

is it these that have the meatier orifice for the cylinder to slide into as well? If it is then proper "200" conversions are simpler I understand.

With regards to the engine if its a "Special" then it will probably have the larger casing
Specials have an engine number starting 3***** they were produced from 1966 onwards and most have the larger casing. if it is just the LI then it will have a number starting 06**** or 07**** some of these are the larger type but a lot less.

the info is based on the engine number
however it is a Spanish scooter so the frame and engine number should be exactly matching.
