Avanti sprocket set up change

I've currently got 15x46 primary gears with a jet200 box fitted. 30 mm phbh carb and franspeed race fitted. The scoot pulls this gearing no problems. Will it pull 16x46
No....I was running a 4:6 final drive with a Franspeed Tourer (not super) and I had no problems. I changed to the Franspeed Race and struggled with the hills, went from York to Morcambe and spent more time in 3rd than 4th !! I changed to 4:8 final drive and it's a pleasure to ride again.
I suppose if you was doing motorway miles at a decent speed it might not be as bad, but Ron does recommend the 4:8 with the Race exhaust.
