Rev Counter and Temp gauge for Vespa SS180

Hi all!

I've fitted a 220 Polossi engine in my 1965 Vespa SS180 and made it a real long distance cruiser.

But I would like to have some more control of the engine, so would like to fit a rev counter and a temperature gauge in the top of my glove-box.
-I don't fancy a SIP speedo, so that is not an option. I would like to keep the old, analogue look...

Any tips on what to buy where?

Thanks!

Øyvind

I do not understand?

SIP speedo = analogue readout on RPM, The digital readout is only illuminated whan the ignition is on (only you see it). If you hate the logo, then remove the cover and remove or replace it. Try Trollhattan: they used to make some nice things there ;-) OOps wrong country, I will not tell the Norwegian Indicator Joke as told by the Swedes here it is too rude to the forum guests from the land of tropical fishing :-0

Hi,

I want to keep the original look as far as possible, and I think the SIP speedo looks s##t...

So I got this recommended on GSF; http://www.mmb-messtechnik.de/index.php ... gory_id/26

And they'll make me a temperature gauge in the same look, so I can fit rev counter on one side and temperature gauge on the other side on the top of the glove box.
-think it will look great!

PS, the indicator joke is normally told by us Norwegian about the Sweedes... (we are smarter than them)
One sign of us being smarter than the sweedes is that back in the sixties, we offered them half of all oil on the Norwegian continental shelf in trade for half of the shares in Volvo... -the sweedes declined the offer...
