Longer rear shocker fixing bolt needed

lads
does anyone know who does a longer rear damper fixing bolt?
me mate, has a JL-Exhaust fitted & the rear bracket off it fits on with the rear shocker..
there is v-little thread left to fit the nut? nevermind with a washer too?

ive a JL on mine Norrie, ill have a look to see if ive any bolts the same. get a full width nyloc and washer on mine.(tell him to do the vespa rear suspension bush conversion on it while he"s on, no more snapped JL rear rubbers)

its a bit of stud, a rear shock bush, and a few washers and nuts etc. not a lot really. you going to A19"s at weekend? I"ll take some pics and show ya.

Gash

Early casings use a 9mm x 65mm long
Late casings use a 10mm x 70mm long

Ebay has plenty of part threaded bolts at M10 x 75 or 80 and beyond for coppers

M9 is the problem !

we just fitted a new rear shocker & brackets must be thicker on it? its on old P2 casings so yep 9mm

Jeff - if you`ve gotta a spare longer 9mm bolt?? tiny-tail says bring it plz with ya picture ov conversion
& will get it off ya on sat night fella :-)

If its M9, then you need to get a GS150 rear shock bolt from Germany. I have tried everywhere in the UK and it seems the Germans are the only ones that have them.

I`d change the bush and go to the 10mm - much better if you require a longer bolt - bushes/sleeve are only about six quid

then you can get the exact size bolt easily in the future
