Hi all, having a head scratcher here!
Currently rebulding a mates TX200 EFL engine. He got a new rear hub seal and bearing from Harry Barlow and i fitted the oil seal and drove it home flush with the shoulder no problems.I warmed the casings slightly then drove the double sealed hub bearing in flush down to the oil seal and cant see the circlip groove?!! I managed to tap the casing on some wood and got the bearing out again to measure,
With just oil seal first fitted in casing, the top of the oil seal to the start of the circlip groove is 9mm and the hub bearing diameter is 12.5mm so i will never be able to drive the bearing deep enough to get the circlip in! any ideas whats going on please?!!
