This is for a young lad at work bought a px 125 and wants to know what if any aftermarket exhaust it has. I told him I'd put it out there to ask how best for him to I.D what he has on to save him buying another exhaust which may not give him any better performance. He says it looks standard but sounds loud? Also what would be his best option if he wanted to upgrade. Its a standard 89 model. The previous owner cant help him. Thanks for any information on his behalf I'm a Lammy man so not much use

Would need to see a picture but the chances are it's a Sito or Sito + if standard looking, those blow the baffles out for fun.
Sito will look like a normal PX exhaust, the + will look like a T5 one which is larger and more angular although still "standard" looking to an untrained eye. There's some stuff from the 80's as well that would look standard if you didn't know better and although unlikely not beyond the realms of possibility.

a standard one will be "pop pop pop" whilst a sito plus is more "ptang ptang ptang", with overtures of "ding dang dong" on the over run. depending on ya jetting and what oil you use of course.
