Got a ts1 to fit and have 28 & 30phbh.
Will 28 give much improved MPG performance over the 30. Any pros and cons to fitting either carb as I wanna use the choice that makes most sense.

my mate was running a 34mm amal on his TS1 200 - he changed to a 30mm phbh - - I ride a TS 225 with a 34VHSB and have ridden with him using the amal and the delly - no really difference on top end and acceleration but a massive change in mpg.
Ive just built a TS 200 with a 30mm on the strength of it and am changing a 34VHSB to a 30mm PHBH on one of my other TS 225 for the coming season
I know people are using 28mm but I wouldn't imagine much difference between that and 30mm.

i run a 30 phbh with powerjet after changing from 32mm Mikuni TMV set up on the dyno , difference between the 2 was quite small in favour of the 30mm , iirc
