Decoking

marvellous isn't it- within a generation the act of "decoking" has been forgotten about/ met with blank faces when mentioned.
Wher the feck did the years go?

the joys of modern technology I guess and the make do and mend mentality has kind of gone, people would rather buy new than sort out what they have.

When I worked in a motorcycle garage back in 1970 I remember de-cokes were a regular service item. I real a Raleigh Runabout coming in with a loss of power (didn't have much to begin with) and the exhaust port was almost completely blocked with carbon

Could it possibly be because they never in one piece long enough to get carboned up

I'd say what the tractor man said, it's like Premiereship managers they get changed every few years. Maybe that nice Mr Wenger needs a decoke...
