BGM225 carb set up

General scooter chat, any scooter related non technical info.

Im buildng a motor BGM 225 motor running a dellorto 30mm carb with a JL full race pipe,
Have any of you got the same set up as im looking for carb settings and Jet sizes.
Hope you can help guys

There's a lot of info on MB site...I have a 28 Delly on mine..

I looked on the MB site but they give two or three options for each jet and needle etc.
I was hoping some one might have the same set up so I had a starting point.

Start at the higher end of the ranges in the MB advice and work down till you get it right. Better rich than lean

60mm crank, PHBH 30mm with Breathsweet Filter, JL3 Curly exhaust.

70 Choke
55 Pilot
40 Slide
X7 Needle clip at 3 (to richen up 1/4 throttle)
AV264 Atomiser
122 main (on the rich side)
