i know most people in the uk prefer the molossi or polini but the pinasco 225 suits people that want vespa power delivery but more of it.
which makes me ask if anyone has seen or tried the new pinasco super sport 225 or even got any thoughts on it?

No, I haven't seen one in the flesh, or even metal, but I'd expect it to be normal Pinasco fare. Nice quality with underwhelming performance and eye-watering pricing. 62mm crank looks interesting although I certainly won't be taking the plunge. If I were doing a big block Coop again then I'd go with the Polini alloy stroker kit and crank to suit, there's more meat for your money there. Don't like the Malossi delivary at all, newer additions may've improved things but I doubt enough for me to ever get along with them.

^^^^ What he said
Have the alloy polini albeit standard rod in my own scooter , great power delivery with standard carb and bgm pipe , pulls standard p2 gearing with ease.
Have also built a 60mm 221 polini for my mate , again great engine.
Whipped the top end off mine to give it a check over after 4000 miles , replacing the rings but very little wear

To be honest not a lot in it, more midrange I thought in the 221, but he had an sip road whereas I am running BGM exhaust, so not a definite comparison.
