Excuse my ignorance about S4 ignition switches but did it come with a key ignition key or a cut-out button? From my experience a key ignition won't fit a cut-out switch headset without some work.

If you mean a LI125 S4 then yes you need to modify the headset to fit the switch. The one MBD sells is just like the factory switch, which was NOT designed to fit in a LI S3/4 headset.

Sounds like the switch you removed was smaller.

I fitted one in a set of GP drops. At 1st, I didn't think it would fit. It was because there are two rings on it. One that you tighten up and a washer type ring. I assumed ( wrongly ) that the washer went directly behind the ring, but it goes on the inside of the headset. Once swapped around, it was a perfect fit. I'm assuming your have done what I originally did? If not, then apologies all round.

Whats the verdict on these switches? they're well priced but look like an Indian Kace switch with the keys rebranded.

Ive just fitted an scootopia ign for a mate , spot on quality and looks wise, and at £30 there great . The casa one are also good , but non original looks (if that matters to you) and £43 .
Mb ones look the same as indian ones ? Anyone know where they are made ??

Casa's not what their all cracked up to be. I've a Casa GP light switch and the qualities a bit Swiss (crap), to be honest I'd have been better saving my money and buying an Indian one for half the price.
