Converting a standard 200 barrel to small block

I have a standard Indian 200 barrel and was wondering if I could modify it to fit a small block casing. Is it just a case of opening up the stud holes to 14ml and turning down the spigot? Seems very simple, or is there more too it? What should I do with the head?
Thanks for any advice
Chris

I drilled the 3 holes out to 14mm but the one near the manifold 13mm. Get the spigoted turned down and cut up a 150 base gasget. Use a standard SIL 200 head and mess about with the 200 headgasket to make it fit. Cheap and easy conversion to a real 200.

ive also got a 200 barrel and looking to do similar, does this mean you are enlarging holes in head same as cylinder?

Yes enlarge the head but not as much as the 4 new barrel holes, get the barrel on and work from there.

why cut up the base gasket ? Rayspeed do 66mm head gaskets for the RB 20 in many sizes that would do the job and myself would get a 175 head reprofiled .
Iv done this conversion myself using a 200 rapido and an Autisa short stroke !
