I've been after a pair of clip-on panels. There were a pair on eBay, due to end Sunday evening. I had it all mapped out to come in with a late bid and secure them.
Both my sons came to Sunday dinner (as planned) we had our food and some wine and a few beers. Sat around chatting, played 'Trivial pursuits' !!! (honestly) Suddenly i remembered ................. the panels !!!!!!
Too late, they sold an hour before, for less than £80 ................

See my Ad in 'Wanted' ........................

its an age thing Andy I'm afraid.

Did the same with a rare fishing rod I was after- forgot all about it and it went for next to nothing.

You need to tie a knot in something to remind you.

You are not showing anyone anything until your max bid is beaten. If you put in the maximum you are prepared to pay and what you think its worth you can forget it AND not get involved in a bidding war at the last minute and end up paying over the odds. You will win it if it sells for less than your max bid.
Just my philosophy which seems to work.
