Frame/chassis identity
Helping out a mate with his newly purchased Li 125 series 2,changed a few odds and ends, engine mounts etc........,anyway,as i was re fitting the engine,i noticed that there is no 'IGM' number, now im sure that there should be!.I know that series 1 machines and TV 200 models were not stamped with them, but im sure that from series 2 onwards they were!!.the frame number indicates a 1960 model, and doesnt look to be messed with,so any suggestions??

I think that early LI series 2's weren't stamped with an IGM- I've read it somewhere on some scootering forum.

Early Series 2's didn't have them - mine hasn't got one.
I believe IGM numbers started in May 1960, mine was first registered in the UK in April of that year.
It's mentioned in the Lambretta Bible by Pete Davies.
