Does anyone know where you can buy welders gel, its the stuff you put around the area you are welding so the surrounding area does not become hot, the gel absorbs the heat and keeps the area cool. I need to do a bit of welding in situ. I think its called Cool Gel.

There's some stuff on Ebay claims to cool the surrounding area while soldering/ welding etc - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/28131082 ... 108&ff19=0

Not sure I'd entrust this to save any paintwork though whilst welding in situ
