Registering a pre 1960l lambretta

Will be looking to reg my s2 lambretta in the next few months
I have a dating cert (date of manufacture 1959)
I have a nova number and vat invoice
I will insure it on frame number
Do I need to mot it??? As it is pre 1960
Or will I be able to get reg number with no mot

Just done this, all you need is photocopies of both parts of driving license, dating cert cheque for £55 and v55 form. No mot or insurance required and they check the nova against the frame number so make sure you write it on the v55 EXACTLY asit appears on nova

Insurance no longer a requirement but be careful to sorn as soon as registered if not insuring

Did as you said, and got my v5 this morning.
So now got a tax and mot excempt series 2
