after only getting near 50 miles to a tank, iv decided to put the si 24 carb back on in the hope of a bit better fuel economy as im now only using the malossi to get to rallies,

iv put the si 24 back on, blocked off the autolube holes, as it was an autolube carb,

also got the cosa float chamber mod on the si carb and the sip spacer to increase the fuel capacity in the float bowl, (plus opened the hole slightly in the bottom of the float bowl as per instructions from sip)

so fuel flow should not be a problem,

I started it up but it wouldn't hold idle, kept dieing out,

mixture screw at the back of the carb is 2 turns out and the idle screw is all the way in and it still won't hold idle, just bogs and dies,

filter has the two holes drilled as that is now standard from piaggio.

jetting is the same as a p200 for the idle jet and the main jet has been replaced with a 128, so its 160/be3/128, but that shouldn't effect the idle,

just wondering weather I need to keep adjusting the mixture screw at the back out, or get a different idle jet,

only asking as it starts up, but when i pull on the throttle it doesn't pick up,
