Am I right in thinking that Lammy rear brake cables come in two different thicknesses? I have a QA inner and was told by the seller it will fit in any cable outer. Well it won't fit in the BGM outer that I have. I'm sure they come in two thicknesses so was hoping to buy a thicker type and bin the inner. Could anyone point me it the right direction please? Thanks in advance Pete..

I've taken the nylon liner out now and it fits. It's not an ideal solution, but it'll work. Not happy about cutting one of the ferrules off to remove the liner, but it looks like there's no other option. Thanks fellas...

The rear brake cable comes in two sizes.
The original size of bbc came with a 3mm inner wire. This is the OE size.
In recent years, nylon lined outer cables were introduced by some after market suppliers. Some of these after market nylon-lined cables use a 2.5mm wire.
I am the only supplier of these cables who stocks both 2.5mm and the more common 3mm cables, and I am trading at Bridlington on the stall with K2 Custom beneath the balcony adjacent to VFM.
These are the fitting instructions that other suppliers don't provide:

Note the trick with the cable tie, which works with all brakes and not just QA brake cables.
