As per the title, has anyone ever fitted rear sets to a paneled scooter? due to my riding position with my feet right back on the rear runner boards ive been toying with fitting rear sets, mainly so the back brake pedal is under my foot without having to move my foot forward to use the back brake where it is now, can it be done with a bit of panel modification?
cheers. John.

thanks for your reply, what i was after was a way to fit the brake so your rear runners are still intact so your foots on the runner instead of a peg, been sent some really usefull pics of how its done, looked bang on and not too dificult to set up

Beware though it is not ideal as you are normally on your toes rather than heals in that position so you have to lift your foot or use your heal to operate which takes sometime to get used to and the heal method tends to put too much pressure on it. i found it just as easy to use in normal position for the amount of time you use it back brakes are next to useless anyway as the weight all transfers to the front under braking but good for stabilising under heavy braking

I lift my foot to operate the brake when the pedal is in the usual position, and the same in my car. Operating it with the ball of your foot is not an issue.
Moving the pedal to the rear set position can also create a great luggage storage opportunity.

Steve - is that the lever above your foot or is it a rearset peg and a lever?

It's just a normal Lamby pedal with the vertical part removed and the foot pad welded back on.
