Does anyone know the maximum realistic temperature of the inlet manifold?

In case it makes much difference, I have an SR185 barrel, mb inlet manifold and rubber mounted 25mm phbl with ancillotti clubman.

I need to make a gasket and the card I'm looking at is only good up to 120c.

I shouldn't wory too much- I've been making inlet gaskets out of Sugar Puffs packets since 1968. Never had one fail!!

I see your point, but I find the husks in sugar puffs get stuck between my teeth. Consequently I usually partake in crunchy nut corn flakes or mini weetabix (nuts and raisin variety). Do you think these are acceptable substitutes?

I wouldn't use the ones packed in India- and DEFO not the Vietnamese variety. Shreddies are good IMO.
