Anyone know if it's the same downpipe as on an AF Clubman?

I don't think so
I understand that Ralph makes up his downpipes from 2 others

Ralph just did a replacement u bend for my mate for his 80's rs clubman as the old one was dead. It was such a nice job its too nice to use so hes saved it!!
if you are on the YSA website forum or scooterboy world he's under the name Woody but he isnt an LCGB member, if you pm me your email i'll sort you a photo but Ralph wouldnt let him back in the door if he posted a photo on the web.anyway dont hold your breath for a replacement as ive been waiting 6 months for my vw clubman!!!
my rs clubman performs like no other converted pipe , its really weird when you compare a different bigbore back to back- WITCHCRAFT!!-otherwise id have given up by now!!!!!!!!!!

Also.. a Ralph one will have a flat flange, rather than a nearly flat one. You'll also be able to do the nuts up without having to remove all the pigeon s**t welding first.
With a Ralph one, you'll be able to use a solid copper gasket without it leaking.

i find the AF pipe has very low ground clearance, and i quite often scrape it.. and i'm not one to tear around too much....
