Choke lever

Sorry if its been asked before ! Has anyone fitted a thumb operated choke lever to a Vespa px ? If so can I purchase one as a kit to fit ? Cheers in advance Danny

I haven't, but I have fitted one to my Lambretta.

I used a thumb operated lever from a Yamaha FZR600, fitted to the LHS. This way, the writing on the choke lever is the correct way up. :D

The advantage of this type of choke lever is that it has a friction setting, so you can feed in a bit of choke if your engine is running weak or you have picked-up some bad fuel.

I ran a partially external cable, so the lever can rotate with the gear change.
