Hi all,
Just finishing rebuilding my Tv175 s3, and am experiencing very dim lights. Not sure where the issue lies, measuring on the loom out from the stator I get about 2-3V at 1500 rpm which raises to 4-6 V when revving up.
This seems low to me.
The AC voltage out is 8V on the red cable, 6 on the purple and 2 on the brown.
Spark is now fine after having gotten a replacement flywheel.
Al loom components new, points and condenser relatively new.
An odd phenomena noticed, which could be due to my cheap multimeter, is that on many of the cables out of the junction box (rear) I have both AC and DC at the same time - is this normal?
I have a back-up stator plate I could swap for but wanted to make sure no one else has seen and resolved a similar issue...
