CamLam fuel low light - thoughts?

I bought a CamLam fuel light that is supposed to go on when you get low on fuel but seems to be on most of the time or at least flickering. Has anyone else had any issues with one of these?

Have them fitted on several scoots with no issues

I'm wondering if my earth is not so good or the float is sticking? Gonna take the tap out tomorrow and have a look

yes mine used to stay on or flicker, the float was getting stuck high up , i filed it and now the folat is free its working fine.

fit one last year,would not work properly, decided to get it working inline with SIP speedo unit. found hole in tank was the cause ,it was jamming the float. reamed out and everything works perfectly
