Why not have someone fettle your iron barrel a bit?
Nice piston in it..

Way better than a gypo alloy one.

I've a wee 175 iron barrel that I'm wanting to get some voodoo magic worked on it. But I'm not sure who to go to yet.

The ports will need tidying up and the transfers might not be level but they are easy enough to fettle, I had one I did a reed valve conversion on which took me to Ireland and back (650 miles) 2 up a couple of years ago.

why not port your 200 cast barrel yourself to the old stage 4 spec ,these are good for an easy 16/18 bhp depending on carb and pipe ...even better with a two ring asso piston .

Times 2....fettle ya 200 cast barrel, decent carb and pipe and it will do everything you want of a roadgoing motor. just use a Mahle piston, leave the bottom ring off.

Can thoroughly reccomend the MB BGM Racetour 225. This is my first proper "kit" having run an unmatched Mugello for many years and previously gone down the rebore option. It's a no brainier unless your budget is tight or your old school.
