1961 Vespa 152L2 back on the road after a few years gathering dust/rust. Engine is P2 with Stage 4 home ported BGM top-end, 1mm base packer with 1mm skimmed of the head, self-cut 57mm crank, Cosa clutch, standard pipe, standard P2 gearing. New floor pan and whole frame painted by brush; paint cost me £20 inc thinners. If I scratch it so what, get the brush out! 10 inch conversion at front using GS150 rim; cheap and simple. Engine put together using parts in my shed and cheap from evil bay. Will be an ongoing project with probably a BGM Big Box and a Polini 208 kit next on the list. Drives nice at the moment. Blowing bulbs and have got a daytime only MOT (just in time for IOW Rally, live there), probably needs new regulator to sort it.

Excellent, thats the way I'm going with my scooters getting them on the road and changing the look and engine specs as I go. I get bored with the look after a few months so a change here and there makes me feel i have a new scooter every couple of months. How is the front end behaving at top speed.
I can recommend the Pinasco Flytech ignition.
