Anti dive.

Hi all, I'm currently putting together an Indian GP with a self built / tuned RB200 motor. I'm fitting a Scootrs disc brake, but it's not anti dive, my question is, should I fit an anti dive kit to it? I have an LTH anti dive on my other scoot, but having never ridden a scooter without anti dive, I've never really experienced the difference between the two. Apologies in advance if this topic has been done to death. Thanks in advance Pete.

Has been done to death, but that doesn't matter
In my experience the difference is chalk and cheese. When I fitted the antidive upgrade to my ScootRS outboard disc, it went from feeling too sharp and grabby to feeling smooth, progressive and powerful.
Huge thumbs up from me for this modification!

I have converted mine and as has been said above it is like chalk and cheese. A little wierd at first because you expect it to dive but doesn't but I certainly wouldn't take it off now. Andy

These scooters never had anti-dive when new, although the brakes were good.
Why do we need it now? perhaps we brake too hard and not carefully?
Cars don't nose dive under braking except when in an emergency?
Watch the MOTO GP or British Superbikes racing and answer this, do they have anti-dive?
Consider and reply! Should be a lively debate me thinks!
Cheers

Don't think your moto gp or superbikes have trailing link front suspension like a lambretta

The scooters never had reed valves, expansion chamber exhausts, 30mm + carbs etc etc back in the day either

+1 "Don't think your moto gp or superbikes have trailing link front suspension like a lambretta"
plus when braking I still have front suspension and when pushing hard on a bend I can trail the front brake without fear of the front locking and spitting me down the road and the suspension soaks up the bumps doing it's job.

I'm being told my original disc is spot on and I won't achieve more from a hydraulics disk. Could this be true?
