I've got one fitted in a S1, so guess the same.

No mods neccesary, although have to be honest was a very tight fit, and had to use various bits of rubber covered in washing up liquid to protect paintwork and get it in.

In fact after trial fit decided too damm hard to get back out and did all my build around it in the frame !!

The Saigon scooter centre ones are difficult to fit in S1 / S2 frames because of the design on the bottom tank rubber holders. You normally have to bend the tabs flat to get the required clearance. If you bend them flat as opposed to removing them you can always bend them back should you wish to revert back to standard in the future. I couldn't say if the Diablo ones have the same issue but it's worth checking.
