One of the boys has bought an original disc brake to fit into his scoot, unfortunately two of the hub studs were snapped, but instead of trying to remove them in the normal way,he gave the hub to someone who didnt know squat about Lambretta's,and had them drilled out,one of them about 3mm off centre, the other one was pretty central. Then to add to the problem, the holes were then tapped out to god knows what thread (an 8mm bolt slides in no trouble,so possibly 9 or 10mm).
Im now taking the hub to a local welder (who knows his stuff regarding ali welding) to have the holes welded up and ground off properly.
What i need is information on drill size, and left hand thread tap size and availability,as it looks to be a very fine left hand thread!!
