Winters coming. Woolacombe probably be last time i ride my current scooter as it is. Then its time to decide what to do next. May modify it. Might sell. Or might just rape and pillage it for parts.
I fancied doing auto conversion with s2 but loads about. Got me thinking of what else i could build. I like cutdowns and been thinking of a streetfighter styled cutdown with auto lump.

Anyone got pics of an auto engined cutdown? Not sure how it would sit or if the look of the engine on show would ruin it

haha yeah cool. found some pics of a stunning green cutdown on a facebook page last night and fell in love, so Im going to think about an auto cutdown some more.

I had thought about building a scooter trike, but it would either involve lots of bodywork which Im crap at, or be loads of stuff on show, really wanted to do something minimal and simple for this build
Im already building a bike engined trike at the moment, and this was my last scratch build, so scooter engined would be a little tame after this LOL

thanks, I built it all including the leading link front end, only way to get a trike to handle half decent is to get the trail right, this solves that problem.

I had already got the offset in the yokes right for the trail, so it handled fine with normal USD forks, but having done all that work, I took it out and the forks that I was sold as 1000 or 1100cc forks, later turned out to be from the 400 model, they just bottomed, so I decided to knock up my own front end :)

ooooooooooooooooh

now I know I was thinking along the right lines

thanks for that, might take longer than planned as I cant seem to sell mine, going to keep it and just cut it about, change things over winter, but will look at gathering parts to build something as well.
