After the wet ride home from Southampton yesterday.
Can anyone recommend some waterproofs & gloves that actually work?

Exactly hehe, I actually use their trousers, have them under the seat all the time. Easy to pull over whatever costume I wear atm.

Golf Waterproofs, you can buy from £30 - £300, there light and work, there also very good for stopping the wind as well.

I was going to buy some new rain gear and can vouch for the mitts, excellent things. Military stuff is usually pretty good quality and cheap too. I'm not sure if they'll be ideal for my trip to Northern Ireland in a couple of weeks though!
