Hi all, can anyone recommend a good cutting compound for new paint? I'll be using an electric mop polisher and the awkward bits I'll be doing by hand. Thanks in advance Pete.

Feracla G3 cutting compound is about as good as it gets but finish off by hand with something milder (not TCut as it can stain).

The hardest thing to get your head round is colour sanding it first. Use 1500 or even lighter to get rid of all the high spots and when its an even flat colour then polish up. It will end up like glass. An extra sacrificial coat helps take care on edges and use lots of water

Absolutely agree, only compound after wet flatting.
