If that's the one that Readspeed do with six coils on the stator and a very high power output, If so then I believe it has a variable of around 8 degrees.cheers,Speedy.

I asked Brolam who sell them and there's only around 4 degrees retard,still better than nowt.

Seems to be various versions of it possible tweaked by various people, ie Readspeed, Brolam.
Update.
Couldn't find any extra info on Brolam but the Readspeed kit includes their own 8 programme CDI.
