Have got my speedo working again it's steady now but reading VERY high. It used to be fairly good any ideas why it's started reading so high?

Very few original speedos are accurate, get Jem Booth to refurbish it or buy a SIP digital one or just boast about how fast your Lammy is.....

Mine was ok then it stopped working, I took the cable out and both ends put it back now I'm getting an extra 15mph in 3rd but it's steady.. I've been playing with the engine and it's going very well but not that well.

Could it be something I did maybe I've over tightened something or is the speedo buggered
