Im trying to repair an Li dip/light and horn switch for a friend and have been given a bag of bits which includes the pcb a small spring and what looks like a small ball bearing.
What i need to know is where these go and if possible has anyone a picture of the inside of a working switch
Thanks

I presume we are talking series 3 LI.
The top edge 3 positon switch is as described. The lower rocker is a 2 way switch. I think both have spring loaded balls that help hold the switch in the desired position.
I think you will finf the button is for the horn. Not cutout. That should be on the rear of the headset like your switch on a GP. Clean the brass posts with some emrey as they get pitted and burnt. Put the balls in inside a clear plastic bag. Saves hunting for the bleeders on the floor of the shed
