just found out via the fast scooter forum that James campen on the camlam lambretta sprinter has set a new quarter mile geared scooter record of 12.44 sec @ 107mph at Santa pod, well done.

I think the old record has stood for a long time.
Santa Pod is not the fastest track either, so probably more to come with the right conditions, somewhere like East Kirby.
