Vespa GS150 Messerschmitt

I have had this scooter for about 6/7 years now and with the typical electrical woes of the GS150 and other projects coming and going, I have finally got it running properly & reliable using the Vespatronic 12v kit. The paintwork over the years has taken a bit of hit but nothing major, few scratches here and there nothing a good polish wouldn't sort. The other major decision is whether to add a few more original accessories I have lying around (knowing this forum, that will be a no). It does have the wrong rear light at the moment but that will get sorted.
Its probably one of the later Messerschmitt as the early ones were very similar to the VS1 & VS2 GS scooters with the cables on the outside.

Nice scoot mate, good luck with the new ignition.
Personally speaking i love getting them going on the original setup when possible.

looks great as it is, but you need the mechersmitte back light on a stalk to look the biz. didn't they do an accessory laden special the "koneggsige" or "queen bee," (excuse spelling or if I'm mistaken, its a long shot) you could maybe base it on that . great scooter.

I take it you mean this.

I have the rear light "swan neck"

The rear glass is very brittle and I have already shattered two, or should I say the state of the roads up here have shattered them. The next time I will use an adhesive or gasket paste around the lens to give it a little more protection, its also fcking hopeless as a rear/brake light due to the size. I still have all the original ignition stuff so its a case of swapping it over when ever I decide to do so.
Cheers Gary
