Having cured the issue of hot starting with my 25mm PHBL by putting a drain hose on the air bellows, I was surprised to have this issue today again. I have been using my GP regularly without event so I didn't understand, especially as now it also had a lumpy tick over.

However a quick strip down revealed this:

Had two floats go exactly the same over the past four years,lots of threads around relating to this issue some say its the quality of the floats some say its down to the additives in petrol.Pain in the ass either way!
