my m8 has a px 125 with the cat fitted its now knackerd can you swap it for a standard px 125 exhaust and would the jetting need altering

yes and yes. swap cat exhaust for standard, throw away all the gubbins on the airfilter etc, put a 98 main jet in, and drill a hole in the airfilter over the main jet stack. free power!
