PX200 EFL electric/ light problem

Was riding home from the Redcar rally in the rain and when I stopped, I noticed my headlight had gone dim. This was the same on full and main beam. When I went to sort it days later, the headlight bulb blew. Put a new bulb in and now it's just stuck on main beam, full beam doesn't work. Can't find anything wrong with the wiring in headset or light switch. M.O.T coming up, so need to get it sorted. Scooter starting and running perfect and everything else working as normal.

Most likely to be water inside shorting the switch out .Either blow it out with comp air or squirt loads of WD40 etc into it then work the rockers back n forth. If this fails then you need a test meter to check you are getting power in and out of the switch.

Thanks for your reply wack. Tried the WD40 in switch, still no joy. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and pay an expert as I'm crap!

Not a chance it could be a regulator fault is there?

If your rear lights and indicators work properly then the regulator should be ok. You could always check the wiring and connectors under the horn stem and check the loom where it passes thru the frame to the headset for chafing
