Do you prefer/would you fit to a small block with a 175 kit?

BGM

CASA

Indian

Scootopia

Perhaps more to the point, which would you not fit again and why?

Your guidance will be much appreciated.

A 175 kit is probably going to be a smooth engine. I like genuine SIL mounts from someone like SR, they are cheap, they work and if you get a bad set they're cheap enough to change. BGM etc are just remaking something that looks a bit neater with slick marketing but will probably be no better than SIL ones IMO.

Got to agree, if it's not a highly tuned motor the SIL mounts are as good as any

definitely fit while you can... when i did top end on my li125 and changed crank etc plus 175 kit it now vibrates like mad. the slim style mounts are clearly shot, and the extra vibration / disturbing them by undoing bolt has clearly knackered them so im going down the longer mount route. Im planning to fit SIL as theyre cheapest but also seem to always come out on top whenever someone asks this question!
