Hello Folks

This is my Series 1 Lambretta. Bought it with no engine from a friend, johnd on here who needed some quick cash a couple of years ago. I fitted my trusty Mugello engine and it’s been going fine since then.

Couldn’t decide on the paint job and wasn’t so into the camouflage scheme it came with so in the end just sanded it back and applied ACF-50.

I really like annoying the people at this boutique Harely Davidson place.

Propably not the best weather for applying ACF-50

Starting to come together, tool box door lock, choke lever, speedo cable, legshield rubbers, end caps (expensive!), rack, plus a horn!

We recently moved house so now I have a garage. Better than working on scooters in the living room. I had stuff stashed all over, the S2 was in the carpark at work for several years.

The same friend found some genuine Lewis Leathers in a vintage clothing shop but they were too small for him. I bought them from him and started putting together a classic racing outfit, Lewis Leathers boots and submariner socks. Not something you wear every day but it certainly seems to get people talking. Anyone who’s into that period or who's been to racinglambrettas.com gets it straight away but the pseudo-mod types just walk away confused, thinking I'm a rocker :)

Cheers
